Carmel College

About Our School Carmel College is a school with a strong Special Character and rich tradition of success and achievement in academic, cultural and sporting activities.

The College was founded in 1957 by the Sisters of Mercy - it is the Mercy Charism which is still the centre of the school.

Carmel is a vibrant community which works to educate young women to the best of their potential so that they can move out into the world to make a difference. Hard work and success are important to us. The great majority of our students go on to tertiary education although we offer suitable courses for all abilities. Our students are proud to be part of Carmel College.
