C.E. Rose is a K-5 school located on the southwest side of Tucson, Arizona. C.E. Rose Elementary was recognized as one of the five top Reading First schools in the State of Arizona in the 2003-2004 school year. School-wide writing scores increased by 14% as measured by the 2003-2004 AIMS assessment. Student scholars have received city contest awards in writing, poetry, social studies and track & field. C.E. Rose became a Performing Plus School in 2005-2006. There has been consistent gains in reading and math as measured by AIMS between 2003-2006. Between 2004-2006 the following community partners financed a new playground and sunshade for C.E. Rose Elementary. Tucson Orthopedic Institute and American Academy of Dermatology/ADD Assoc. In 2006-2007. C. E. Rose was recognized as one of six TUSD schools to make the most dramatic gains in student achievement as measured by AIMS. |
