Respected Sister Maria, I would like to ask if you would consider starting a pen-friend's project between students of similar age-groups of your school and our students. We already have an ongoing pen-friend's project with several schools of Pakistan called 'Aao Dosti karein' in Hindi (Come...Let us be friends). This project was initiated with 5 schools of pakistan during the time of Kargil war when the tensions between India and Pakistan were palpable and hatred was growing across the borders, seeds of which had also started to be sown in the young minds. This project has been very successful over the years and exchange of letters gradually gave way to physical exchange of student delegations from the other side of the border. Now Pakistani school delegations are a regular at all the CMS international events. It would be great if we can initiate a pen-friends' club with your school too. Respected Sister Maria, At the outset, we thank you wholeheartedly for showing interest in our educational events. We understand the monetary problems you are facing with a small number of students attending and it might be difficult for you to travel all the way to India. Nevertheless, your school can always participate in other events which invite entries in creative writing, poster making etc by post or email and where personal attendance is not required. These events are the Commonwealth Youth Conference, International Innovation Day, World Peace Festival, SAARC Youth Festival and International Youth Festival. These events are held at different times in a calendar year and your school is most welcome to participate in any/all of them. Hello dear friends of the Immaculate Heart of Mary School! I am Rishi Khanna of the linked school City Montessori School from India and I extend my welcome greetings to all of you. It is indeed an honour to have our school linked with yours. Perhaps we will share a lot of activities and experiences together in the coming time. We organise 27 International Events based on a variety of subjects such as Science, Computers, Music, Literary Festivals, geography, History, Bio Technology and also an International Competition for Pre-Primary Kids. During the course of these events, we provide free transportation, boarding and lodging to the participating teams. There is no Registration fee for participation in any of the events. Two of the upcoming events are REFLECTIONS, an event in the History Subject and COFAS (Computer Fair and Seminar) which will be organised in September. We would be honoured to have your school participate in these events. We would also be honoured to host the Principal/Head of the School who would be our honoured Special Guests for the event.
